Japanese Rider Wins Stage Six of Tour de Singkarak 2014

Solok City, June 12, 2014. Kohei Uchima wins stage six of Tour de Singkarak 2014 from Padang Panjang to Solok City, Thursday (6/12/2014) with 2:37:48. The rider from Japan Cycling Federation (JCF) finished first followed by Souflane Haddi of Skydive Dubai Pro Cycling Team (SKD) with 2:38:27. Indonesian rider, Dadi Suryadi of Pegasus Continental Cycling Team (PCT) is in third position with 2:38:29. Fourth position is held by Australian Brenton Jones of Avanti Racing Team (ART) in 2:39:16.

In ASEAN Rider category, Dadi Suryadi won this category for the fifth time. Dadi Suryadi succeeded with 17:29:23 followed by Bambang Suryadi of Indonesia National Team (INA) in 17:33:40. Third position for this category is held by Philippine rider, Boots Ryan Cayubit of Team 7 Eleven Roadbike (T7E) with 17:34:20.

For the fifth time in a row, Ramin Mehrbaniazar of Pishgaman Yazd (PKY) grabbed the King of Mountain title with 26 points. Junrey A Navarra of LBC MVP Sports Cycling (LBC) is in second position with 18 points. In the third position is Sajjad Sabouri of Tabriz Petrochemical Team (TPT) who also got 18 points.

Fight to be the fastest in sprint occurred at Town Hall Soekarno Hatta Road, Batusangkar and in Talawi. This category is won by Arvin Moazemi Godarzi (PKY) with 20 points. Cris Joven (T7E) gained the same point though settling in the second position. Third position with 16 points is Sajjad Sabouri (TPT)

Yellow jersey again is held by Amir Zargari (PKY) for the fourth time after winning with 17:23:04. Second position is also of PKY, Rahim Emami with 17:24:28. Third position is held by Arvin Moazemi Godarzi with 17:26:33.

For the first time in Tour de Singkarak history, the start line is opened in the middle of a market. The route itself starts in Central Market in Padang Panjang and ends in City Hall, Solok City, covering 111 kilometer distance. Until stage six, only 96 riders are left in the race.
