MoonLite Kitchen and Bar Wins Wine Spectator 2015 Award of Excellence


In recognition of its outstanding wine list, MoonLite Kitchen and Bar at Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa, Bali has received the prestigious accolade of a Wine Spectator 2015 Award of Excellence.

Wine Spectator is a highly respected lifestyle magazine which focuses on wine and wine culture, and its coveted Wine List Awards celebrate restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen selection of quality producers along with a thematic match to the food menu, whilst also evaluating the establishment’s Wine Director or Sommelier, wine strengths and pricing.

MoonLite Kitchen and Bar opened in April 2015 and has already become renowned for its unique rooftop culinary experiences and evolving mood. Guests can relax at the trendy bar lounge with an extensive selection of traditional, classic and modern beverages, including seductive cocktails and a well-stocked international wine repertoire. A lustful menu of modern Asian cuisine is cooked in the open kitchen and savoured in the Balinese inspired dining room or on the open air deck with panoramic Indian Ocean views.

Showcasing a full display wine cellar, MoonLite Kitchen and Bar’s extensive wine list includes more than 100 labels at any given time. The state-of-the-art wine cellar features a fully air conditioned and sealed room that is kept below 12 degrees Celsius, providing excellent storage conditions for premium wines. Enhancing the experience for guests, the resort’s resident Wine Guru offers discerning wine tasting journeys, as well as expert recommendations for the perfect food and wine pairings.
