Hotel, Surabaya proudly presents The Beijing Culinary Experience at Shang
Palace Restaurant from 14 to 23 November 2013. For this occasion we flew in two
chefs from our sister hotel, Traders Hotel, Beijing. Chef Jenny Gao and Chef
Duan will palate your plate with authentic Beijing dishes for lunch and dinner.
Beijing-Style “Zhajiang” Noodles and Wok-Fried Beef with Bread Stick are some
of the dishes to give you a Beijing culinary experience.
Jenny
Gao Ning, Sous Chef of Traders Hotel, Beijing specialised in traditional
Beijing snacks. Her signature dishes including Tian Jin Style Pancake and
Beijing Style Noodle. With more than 25 years culinary experience and
creativity, Chef Jenny also well-known on her healthy menus that she tailors
made dishes based on client’s blood type.

White Duan Xiao Chen has been with Oriental, Chinese Restaurant in Traders
Hotel, Beijing for over 16 years. His experience reaches as far as Sichuan,
Shandong and Hunan culinaries and he specialises in traditional Beijing
cuisine. Chef Duan also participates in VIP banquet events and in designing
signature dishes for the Oriental, Chinese Restaurant.

Palace, this elegant and tranquil restaurant features classic provincial
Chinese cuisine for lunch and dinner. The skilled and imaginative Chinese chefs
prepare wide selections of seafood, dim sum and barbeque meats. The restaurant
located in first floor and opens for lunch from 11:30 am to 02:30 pm from
Monday to Saturday and brunch from 08:00 am to 02:30 pm on Sunday and public
holiday, while the dinner from 06:00 – 10:30 pm. Shang Palace has six (6) VIP
rooms and can accommodate for up to 220 persons.
