SATOO, the hotel’s international buffet restaurant, will bring delightful around-the-world cuisine with extensive Indonesian culinary creations that will take guests on a sumptuous spice journey through the Ramadan iftar feast, available at Rp 380,000++ per person for everyday dinner during Ramadan month. Guests can enjoy a tantalising “break the fast” buffet experience with options of Indonesia province’s signature dishes – from Soto Bangkong, Nasi Gudeg Jogja, Laksa Bogor, Nasi Timbel, Sop Buntut, Nasi Jamblang, Soto Betawi and many more.
The all-time-favourite European specialties, Asian delicacies and appetising Middle Eastern classics will still be served at the restaurant’s vibrant 12 open-kitchen stations. Dishes range from Beef and Chicken Shawarma, Chicken and Fish Tikka, Italian Pasta, Sushi and Sashimi, Roast Beef, Hong Kong Noodles and many others. During Ramadan dinnertime, an alluring live entertainment will enliven the dining ambiance.
Selections of high-quality tea and coffee are available for guests to savour during break fasting. Lobby Lounge prepares exclusive Ramadan tea sets complete with sweet and savoury finger food perfect for those looking for an elegant ambiance and light bites prior to a heavy and fulfilling meal. The tea set is priced at Rp. 185,000++ per person.
For guests staying at the hotel, a special pre-dawn meal is available in set menus with selections ranging from Indonesian, Middle Eastern and Western, and priced at Rp. 285,000++ person. The full-course set menu comes with appetizer, soup, main and dessert dishes, which will be delivered directly to the guestroom.

To share the holy month’s blessings, SATOO Deli Shop offers Ramadan hampers that will make the perfect presents for family members, friends and business colleagues. These delicacies will be available to order as a perfect and lovely gesture of appreciation and of embracing this festivity.
The hampers come in four packages, namely, Turban, Tasbeh, Kaftan and Sultan. All four hampers come in attractive Ramadan-themed designs. The Ramadan hampers are available at prices starting from Rp 688,000++ and include a selection of chocolates, dates, dried fruits, assorted Indonesian cookies, baklava, date cake, macaroons, spiced nuts, sparkling juice and olive oil.
This Ramadhan, the hotel will also feature CSR fundraising initiatives, the proceeds of which will go to Shangri-La’s Care for People programme, Embrace. In front of SATOO Deli Shop during the month of Ramadhan, the hotel will sell a small box of Ramadan delights ranging from chocolate pralines, nastar, dates, cashew and giant cookies at prices starting from Rp. 85,000 nett per box. Proceeds from sale will fund the hotel’s CSR programme, Waste Bank, a counselling programme aimed at teaching people residing in the riverbanks of Ciliwung River in the Manggarai and Depok areas about sustainable living by reducing the disposal of household trash, which leads to garbage, lead and water pollution.

Aside from the fundraiser, the hotel will also hold the annual Ramadan event ‘Breakfasting and Sharing’. The hotel will give away 1,000 school shoes for unfortunate students. The event will be attended by the hotel’s CSR volunteer, students and teachers from SMPN 181 Junior High School. One evening of “Sahoor on the Road” programme will also be held to distribute a Ramadan pre-dawn meal (Sahoor) to the unfortunate street children and panhandlers.
During the holiday period of Hari Raya Idul Fitri or Eid Al-Fitr, guests with families can enjoy a special room package that includes breakfast at SATOO for two adults and two children under six years old and fun weekend activities for the kids. SATOO will offer a special Eid Al-Fitr feast for lunch and dinner during the first and second day of Eid Al-Fitr at Rp. 380,000++ per person for buffet. Chinese cuisine lovers can enjoy a special Eid Al-Fitr feast for buffet brunch during the first and second day of Eid Al-Fitr, served at Shang Palace with price of Rp. 248,000++ per person. In addition, staying guests will also get 20 per cent off at Nishimura Japanese restaurant or Rosso Italian restaurant and 20 per cent off at CHI, The Spa.
