Padang, June 15, 2014. Amir Zargari retains his yellow jersey in the international cycling race Tour de Singkarak 2014 which ended in Padang, Sunday (6/15/2014) with 28:31:48. The Pishgaman Yazd (PKY) rider has also won the TdS 2011. He won without ever winning any of the 9 stages in which he was only Top 10 several times. Runner up position is his team mate Rahim Emami with 28:33:25, while third position is another PKY’s rider, Ramin Mehrbaniazar with 28:36:40.
This stage’s winner is Brenton Jones from Australia of Avanti Racing Team (ART) with 2:43:12. Reaching the finish line all at the same time, the second and third position consecutively are Soufiane Haddi of Skydive Dubai Pro Cycling Team (SKD) second and Koroeda Saya of Japan Cycling Federation (JCF) third.
Dadi Suryadi from Indonesia of Pegasus Continental Cycling Team (PCT) wins the ASEAN Rider category and retains his red and white jersey with 28:46:17, second position is Boots Ryan Cayubit from the Philippines of Team 7 Eleven Roadbike (T7E) with 28:51:03 and third position is Mark John Lexer Galedo (T7E) with 28:53:49.
Pishgaman Yazd (PKY) wins the best team category with 85:37:28, second position is Tabriz Shahrdari Ranking (TSR) with 86:01:38, third position is Team 7 Eleven Roadbike (T7E) with 86:33:20.
In King of Mountains category, the polka dot winner is Ramin Mehrbaniazar of Pishgaman Yazd (PKY) with 40 points. Second position is held by Junrey A Navarra of LBC MVP Sports Cycling (LBC) by getting 32 points followed by Amir Zargari in third position with 24 points.
Cris Joven (T7E) wins the sprint category holding the green jersey with 35 points. Second position is Arvin Moazemi Godarzi (PKY) with 20 points and third position is Kamnabi Hossein Jahanbanian of Tabriz Shahrdari ranking (TSR) with 17 points.
The last stage is joined by 82 riders from 82 teams, starting from Carocok Beach in Pesisir Selatan and ends at the West Sumatera’s governor office in Padang covering the distance of 1,250 kilometers.
